Anita Barone
A stage actress that is versatile and is mostly restricted to sitcoms on TV, Anita Barone received her most memorable performance in the medium by playing husband of Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which ran one season on ABC between 1995 and. Barone performed on stage in her first performance at five years old in Detroit after her family relocated out of St Louis. By age 23 Barone was on stage in more than 50 shows mostly for university productions and regional theaters. Among her stage roles were Juliet in "Romeo as well as Juliet," Helen Keller in the production of "Monday After the Miracle" and in the title role of Agnes who is a young, tormented nun from "Agnes of the Gods." She made her screen debut with a tiny role as a character in "The Rosary Murders" (1987) and also had an appearance as a character in "Ricochet" (1991) and she was given a role as the lead actress in the comedy that was indie "Just Friends" (1996). Barone was hired by NBC in the 1990-91 time frame as a shareholder for "Carol & Company", the ill fated project to Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety TV show. Barone was also in the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. She eventually went back to her sitcom show, in which she co-starred with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
